The Rotary schedule board is a small board which is used in the classroom or at home to display a child’s schedule or as a choice game. We write the child’s schedule in each whiteboard tile and attach them around the board in a row, so the child can see which lesson/activity he has next and which ones he has already completed. The tiles are attached using Velcro hooks and loops and we can change their position or erase them any time.
This visual aid helps children who need a visual aid to help them. They can look at the board and know their schedule instantly without having to ask all the time. You can show the child’s schedule by writing words, drawing pictures or sticking symbols on the tiles. It can also be used in the classroom to display various stations. Each child can have his own board which will display all the stations and he will move the arrow every time he moves to another station.
1. Use the included marker to write on each square tile a lesson title/description or stick images on them.
2. Attach a Velcro hook on the back of each tile.
3. Attach each tile on the Velcro loops on the board (around the arrow).
4. Move the arrow to the appropriate place to show the current activity. The child can see which activity he is currently involved in, but also which activities have been completed and which ones follow.
