An alternative mouse aiming to be used by people with motor control difficulties. It connects to the computer through a USB port and it is very large, which makes it easier to use. It is also very heavy with rubber base, to prevent accidental movement. It has two large mouse buttons for left and right click which are located in front of the ball to avoid unwanted clicking on them. In addition to the big buttons, it also has a very big ball to make it easier to use and more precise.
This version also includes two switch jacks and it allows you to add your own switches and use them instead of the integrated mouse buttons.
To install the device
1. Connect the switches in the appropriate ports.
2. Connect the device to your computer through a USB port.
3. Wait for the device’s drivers to automatically install. You’ll get a message that your device is ready to use.
To operate the device
1. For right click press the right button or the right switch.
2. For left click press the left button or the left switch.
3. For drag lock hover the cursor over the file you want to move and press twice the right click button or the right switch to lock it. Move the cursor (it will carry the selected file along) to the destination on the screen and press any button to release the file there.
