Description
A mixed type open-ended software for phonological awareness and language development. It has been developed by experienced special educators and speech therapists in an effort to create a tool with integrated contents, but also to have the option to easily add new content or edit the existing one.
The software contains a large database with records for each alphabet letter in English, Greek and Arabic.
Each record includes seven fields:
1. Grapheme (text)
2. Phoneme (grapheme’s sound)
3. Word starting with each grapheme (text)
4. Word starting with each grapheme (sound)
5. Sentence which includes the word (text)
6. Sentence which includes the word (sound)
7. Image of the word (picture or animation)
Example of a record:
1. «m», grapheme (the letter m in written form)
2. «m», phoneme (the sound of letter m)
3. «mom», a word starting with the letter m in written form
4. «mom», a word starting with the letter m in audio form
5. «I love my mom», a sentence including the word mom in written form
6. «I love my mom», a sentence including the word mom in audio form

Example of an activity:
The software contains 27 activities and each one of them includes ready-made exercises. You can create your own exercises using the content already included in the software’s database, editing the included records, deleting them or creating your own records. Each user can also decide on the colors he wants to use. He can have his own background color, text font, text size, text color, text background and scanning color to best suit his needs.
Each activity has options for enabling or disabling sound, image and text. You can decide which sound-text-image combination best suits each of your students. You can change display settings for making each activity easier or more difficulty.
The speech therapist, can also change an activity entirely by recording a new instruction for each exercise. This function offers many potentials as it makes the software a multi-tool, capable to be used in any subject.

The speech therapist creates a separate password protected account for each user, an administrator account for his self and a student account for each student.
