Instructions for use
To record and playback a message using a sticker code
1. Hold down the Power button until the LED light turns blue. You’ll hear a welcome message.
2. Hold down the Mode button (M) until your pen says “Recording Mode”. The LED light will turn red.
3. Hold down the microphone button (RECORD) and place your pen on a sticker code (don’t release the microphone button yet). When you hear a beep or the LED light turns purple release the button.
4. Start talking in your pen’s microphone (you can move the pen away from the sticker code).
5. Press the microphone button (RECORD) when you finish your message.
6. Place the pen on the same sticker code you used to record. The pen will “read” the message” (if it doesn’t make sure you are on the Recording Mode).
7. To increase/decrease the volume press the Power button multiple times.
To record and playback a message on the extra educational resources (books, flashcards, posters)
1. After buying the desired educational resource, you’ll have to download its sounds to your pen using a computer and the FREELINK software, which is included in your pen’s memory.
2. Hold down the Power button until the LED light turns blue. You’ll hear a welcome message.
· To record, press and hold the Mode button (M) until your pen says “Recording Mode”. The LED light will turn red. Place your pen on the Record button located on your resource and start talking. Place your pen on the Stop button located on your resource to stop recording and then place your pen to the Play button located on your resource to listen to your recording.
· To listen to the pre-stored sounds of your resource, place your pen on the welcome arrow located in the first page of your book/card. The pen will welcome you to the resource. Then, just place your pen on the hotspots and the pen will start “reading”.
