Instructions for use
To record a message
1. Turn the device on.
2. Choose a level to record on.
3. Hold down the small RECORD button until a red LED light switches on.
4. Hold down the large record/playback button (device’s top).
5. Speak clearly into the device’s microphone (the LED light will switch on and off).
6. Release the large record/playback button (device’s top) to stop recording.
7. Repeat steps 3-5 to record additional messages.
8. Press the small RECORD button to exit recording mode (the red LED light will switch off).
To playback all the messages in a row
1. Turn the device on.
2. Choose a level.
3. Press the record/playback button (device’s top). Each time you press the button you’ll listen to one message according to the recording sequence.
To playback only one message
1. Press the record/playback button (device’s top). Press the record/playback button (device’s top). Each time you press the button you’ll listen to one message according to the recording sequence.
2. When you listen to the message you want to repeat, wait for it to finish and press the RECORD button.
3. Press the record/playback button to listen to it (it will only play that message).
4. To stop repeating a message press the RECORD button.
To use an external switch
1. Connect an external switch to the Switch jack.
2. Use your switch instead of the playback button.
To control another appliance with the device
1. Follow the steps described above to record a message, but while recording press the RECORD button once.
2. Connect the appliance to the device.
3. Press the record/playback button (device’s top) or a connected switch to listen to a message. While the message is playing, the connected toy will be operating.
