Go Talk 20+

Description

Go Talk 4+ is an Alternative and Augmentative Communication device, which speaks on behalf of people with nonverbal communication. It is available in three versions, Go Talk 4+, Go Talk 9+, Go Talk 20+, which differ in the total message number and total recording time. All three Go Talk versions have five different message levels, main buttons (same messages for all five levels) and secondary buttons (different messages in each level). Go Talk 20+ has 5 main and 20 secondary buttons and it can store 105 messages. It also has a level lock function, recording lock function and level erase function.

It includes blank overlays with grids, to let the user write/draw or stick pictures on them. You can also create your own overlays using a computer.

Instructions for use

To record a message

1.       Set the ON/OFF switch to ON.

2.       Press the level button as many times needed to select a level to record on. It will move to the next level on every press of the button and the level LED will indicated which level is selected.

3.       Press the RECORD button to enter Recording mode. The recording and level LED lights will switch on.

4.       Press the message button you wish to record on (the recording LED light will start flashing).

5.       Speak clearly into the devices microphone.

6.       Press any button to stop the recording.

7.       Repeat steps 4-6 to record more messages.

8.       Press the RECORD button to exit Recording mode.

To playback a message

1.       Set the ON/OFF switch to ON.

2.       Press the level button as many times needed to select the desired level. It will move to the next level on every press of the button and the level LED will indicated which level is selected.

3.       Press any message button to listen to the saved message.

To delete all messages in a level

1.       Set the ON/OFF switch to ON.

2.       Press the RECORD button to enter Recording mode. The recording and level LED lights will switch on.

3.       Press the level button as many times needed to select the desired level. It will move to the next level on every press of the button and the level LED will indicated which level is selected.

4.       Using the tip of a pen, press the erase level button.

Level/recoding lock

1.       Set the ON/OFF switch to ON.

2.       Hold down the RECORD button to enter Recording mode. The recording and level LED lights will switch on.

3.       While still pressing the record button, press and release

a.       the volume down button to activate recording lock.

b.      the volume up button to activate level lock.

4.       To undo the level/recording lock turn the device off (set the ON/OFF switch to OFF) and hold down the RECORD button while turning the device on (set the ON/OFF switch to ON).
