Listen to me communication device

Description

Listen to me is an Alternative and Augmentative Communication device, which speaks on behalf of people with nonverbal communication. It can store 12 voice messages, one in each button, of 10 seconds each. We can record our own voice or connect the device to an external audio device (radio, mp3 player etc.) and record its sound. Listen to me operates on batteries or power and it automatically switches of to save energy, after 5 minutes of inactivity.

It includes a carrying case with a clear front cover. Each message button has a clear slot behind it so the user can insert a label with images/text/symbols related to the button’s recording.

Instructions for use

To record a message

1.       Set the ON/OFF to L (Low). A red LED light will switch on.

2.       Hold down the REC button until the LED light turns green.

3.       Press one of the record/playback buttons. The LED light will blink and you’ll hear a beep sound.

4.       Speak clearly into the device’s microphone.

5.       Press the record/playback button again to stop the recording or wait for it to automatically stop after 10 seconds.

6.       Repeat steps 3-5 to record more messages.

7.       When you finish recording messages, hold down the REC button until the LED light turns red.  

To playback a message

1.       Press any record/playback button to listen to its message.
