Description
The Eye Gaze Board is a low tech augmentative and alternative communication device, which can be used by people with non-verbal communication. Those people can create words and sentences just by gazing at the board, which people who can’t read can use a board with symbols/pictures.
The board is made of transparent and it has letters, syllables, words, pictures or symbols around it. In the middle of the board there is blank space so the person can watch the person he/she is communicating with.

Instructions for use
The carer/parent stands behind the board and holds it in front of the user. The user gazes at the images/letters/syllables/words in order to create words or sentences and the carer/parent watches the user’s gaze to understand what he is saying. When the user uses the letter board, as shown in the image, he first looks at the color of the letter and then on the letter, so the carer/parent will know which letter he is looking at.
