SE. S Font – accented vowels

Description

SE. S font is a font designed by SE. S to help children who are struggling with the keyboard. It automatically inserts vowels with a stress mark with just one keypress. Kids don’t have to struggle to find where the stress mark is and then to press the appropriate vowel. We replace the first row of keys in a keyboard (number row) with the seven vowels. This way has been proven to help small children to learn how to insert a stress mark.

Instructions for use

Installing the font on Windows XP computers

1.       Insert the disc in your computer.

2.       Open the dic’s contents and locate the file SESJ2010.TTF.

3.       Press the Start button on the taskbar (lower left button on the screen).

4.       Select the button Control Panel (located in the right column of the Start menu).

5.       The Control Panel window will open. Double click on the Fonts folder (if you can’t see the Fonts folder, click Switch to classic view on the upper left side of the window).

6.       Drag and drop the file SESJ2010.TTF to the Fonts window (click on it and holding down the left mouse button drag the mouse to the Fonts window and release the left mouse button).

7.       You have successfully installed the font on your computer.  

Installing the font on Windows 7 or newer OS computers

1.       Insert the disc in your computer.

2.       Open the dic’s contents and locate the file SESJ2010.TTF.

3.       Double click on it and wait or right click and select Install and wait.

4.       The installation window will open and close automatically after a few seconds.

5.       You have successfully installed the font on your computer.  

Using the font

1.       Launch an application for writing in order to use the font (i.e. Microsoft Word).   

2.       On the menu, go to font selector.

a.       click and type SESJ2010 and then press Enter  or

b.      click on the arrow and locate the SESJ2010 font (if you can’t find it type SES and it will come forward).

3.       Switch your computer’s writing language to Greek.

4.       Start typing!
